Su museline gaudyt dar nemoku ir beveik nieko nepagaunu, tai šį kart pasiėmiau seną gerą spiningėlį. Su Saulium sugalvojom nulėkt iki kaimo ir prieš tai pakeliui patikrinti labai gražios Aukštaitijos upės labai gražų ruožą. Pirmoj dienos pusėj agresyviai dirbančių voblerių mėtymas į sraunumas bei palei įvirtusius medžius rezultatų nedavė. Paėjus keletą valandų pasroviui – upė gerokai išplatėjo ir patapo daug ramesnė. Nutarėm patikrinti kiek žemiau esantį ruožą, kuris mums ir, kaip parodė rezultatas, užėtakiams atrodė patrauklesnis. Pakeičiau ir taktiką. Užsidėjau natūralaus spalvinimo rainės imitaciją, kurios darbas visiškai neagresyvus ir pradėjau mėtyti ir traukti imituodamas sužeistos žuvelės judesius. Gal kokiu 5-6 metimu smūgis ties įvirtusiu medeliu ir pasikabino gražus upėtakis. Iš akies 27 cm. Džiaugsmo pilnos kelnės, pafotkinom, paleidom. Taip pasikrovęs jau maniau, kad va dabar tai čia jau prasidės. Radau tinkamą masalą ir pan, o bet tačiau daugiau nieko ir nebebuvo. Saulius sakė apturėjo vieną smūgį, bent tiek jėga. Diena praleista labai gerai, o vakare padarytas “aptarimas” taip pat nebuvo liūdnas :) Iki kito karto.

I’m a beginner in fly fishing yet and hardly catch a fish so today I took old dirty spinning rod. On the way to my country side we both with Saulius decided to check one perfect spot on one nice river in Aukstaitija region. During the first half of the day I casted mostly to places where the stream was strong using aggressive baits and it didn’t give any results. After about two hours of descending downstream river became much more calm and wide. So we decided to check a lower section which was more sexy not only for us but as showed the results – for trout also. I changed the tactics also. Replaced the bait to the imitation of small minnow  with not aggressive action and started to imitate the movements of injured fish. After few casts I felt a hit of the fish alongside the fallen tree. It was a brown trout. Not a big one, about 27 cm. Took some photos and released the fish back. I was happy and thought that now I’ll start catching but it seems I was wrong J Saulius said he had a single hit and that’s it. Anyway the day was spent well and in the evening we discussed everything with some beer and shashlik at the fireplace. See ya next time!
