Po naktinės nuvariau trumpam į Sereikiškių parką pasivaikščiot su museline. Buvo kolega minėjęs, kad ten galima pagaut nedidukų. Gerai prasivėdinau geras 3 valandas ir apturėjau vieną netikėtą kibimą. Valas buvo paleistas pasroviui, kol aš kažką ten krapščiausi, painiojausi ir staigiai pajutau svorį anam gale. Atisukus tik pamačiau išnyrantį šešėlį,kuris staigiai lanku išsisuko net iškišdamas galvą ir pabėgo. Neaišku ar upėtakis čia buvo ar gal koks kiršliukas. Nepakirtau žodžiu :)
Reiškia žvejojamos vietos pačiam Vilniaus centre. Aišku kiek neįprasta tiek žmonių matyt. Dažnai sustoja, žiūri. Na ne visai jau įprastas žvejybos būdas vistik. Tiesa, dar pavyko sugauti šiandien griliaus groteles. Priešinosi nesmarkiai, turbūt po žiemos čia taip, po neršto.
After a night shift decided to take a walk in Vilnius city centre by the river Vilnele. Heard it’s possible to catch some small brownies there . Weather was cloudy but 3 hours spent on the river was exactly what I needed today. Even had an unexpected take. Fish took the streamer while fishing line was thrown into the water and my attention was on unraveling something. Suddenly I felt weight on the other end but was not fast enough to hook the fish. Only saw a dark shadow emerging to the surface and quickly disappearing leaving only big circle after itself. It was unclear what fish was that but not a huge one.
So that means we have fishable places in the very heart of Vilnius old-town. It was unusual to see so many people walking around and staring at me. Fly fishing is still quite a exotic thing in Lithuania. By the way I caught a grill grate, it was not trying to resist too much. Probably it was weak after winter and spawning.
